First Workout - #3

First hurdle workout in the mountains...check. Beautiful day, great weather, awesome track, picturesque view, a friend to set up the hurdles and block random high schoolers who don't understand...watch lane one! What more could a girl ask for...oh yeah, how bout some oxygen. I knew it was coming, there was nothing I could do, running from it won't help so I just had to embrace it. Going into this workout times weren't important the goal was to get the work in and focus on hurdling, but lets be honest I had to look at my watch. I wish I could be one of those runners who forgets their watch and just runs on feel but I am just not. So I decided before hand I would look at the times but only as a gauge, nothing more. And I am happy to tell you, that's what I did. I had a great workout and now have something to base the rest of my workouts on. As for listening to my coach and not looking at times, I am working on it...
